Sally Graham is the Managing Director of Avant Healthcare Services Ltd.
Sally sold her business to one of the UK’s top five home care companies in 2010 and then began work on her new venture ably supported by Deepa Dungar, Operations Manager and a shareholder in the new operation. Deepa has worked with Sally for over eight years, playing a significant part in the success of the previous business with her inspirational energy and drive to achieve and deliver quality care and support services.
Sally started her first business in 1996 as a franchisee and quickly built up a highly successful multi-site operation covering nine territories. Sally sold her £12m turnover business to one of the UK’s top five home care companies in 2010 and then began work on her new venture, Avant.
Deepa is a shareholder in Avant. She played a key role in setting up the business with Sally Graham, and in its subsequent success. Deepa has many years’ experience in adult social care, including more than eight years in training management, quality assurance and human resources management. Using her management background in social care, she is helping to guide the company through change as it grows, ensuring we continue to provide an excellent service.
Mike is probably the most experienced multi-sector senior franchise manager in the UK. Over the last 27 years, he has been responsible for the growth and development of several health, social care and service industry businesses with both franchised and company-owned national networks.
As a PLC board director, he headed up a £320-million operation in health and social care, which included the market leader in franchised domiciliary care services at the time. Not surprisingly, Mike has built up an enviable track record in growing service industry operations, as well as in-depth experience in business acquisitions.
He is also a qualified business coach.
Sophie is charge of the management of all development and training for new and existing staff through to management, she manages the vetting of all new starters in accordance with CQC and is in charge of the internal and external communication channels, along with all recruitment needs.
Sophie has worked extensively across the operational side of business for companies such as Mango and French Connection for 10 years, whilst being heavily involved with training and HR processes.
She then re-trained and completed her Masters CIPD in Human Resources Management in 2013 and has held roles with G4S in their HR department working with specifically with the NHS hospitals catering and security staff.
Sophie works as part of the wider team at Avant to encourage employee and customer feedback and she ensures that training is at its highest standard striving to continuously build the company culture of being open, reflective and caring.
