People with mental health problems often find dealing with change or the unexpected difficult.
Changes to their routine – such as a new home help or a change in an everyday activity, such as food shopping or help around the house – can be hard to deal with. As part of our mental health care and support service we are trained and experienced in helping people live their lives dealing with mental health issues, plus we will ensure the transition with their new service is as smooth as we can possible make it. We will always do our utmost to ensure our mental health care service is of real benefit, ensuring the customer has positive outcomes.
Mental illness can affect all people of all ages from young children to the elderly. There are many causes, some inherited, whilst other are brought on by lifestyle or events.
Being a care includes anything from giving emotional support through to providing extensive practical support to enable someone to live their life from day to day.
We invest time training our care and support workers in caring and supporting individuals and families coping with people with mental health conditions. We are a member of MIND which helps us further developing our training and assisting us in further developing our services.
Some of the more commonly known mental health problems our mental health care and support services can assist with include:
• Eating Disorders
• OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)
• Post Traumatic Stress
We provide person centred care and support and tailor each package and focus on the outcomes of that person. We will work with the individual to meet their outcomes and provide the support for the family and friends around them.
