Competitive Rates – Our staff are the most important asset to the company. New staff will earn basic rates, however the more training you receive and after your probationary period, you will receive the higher the rates of pay.
Training – Avant will – provide staff with training at the onset plus ongoing training throughout your employment. We will strive to train you to the highest level possible and you will have the opportunity to do an NVQ level 2, 3 or 5 (depending on your position)
QCF/Diploma award – Every Avant employee must hold a minimum of level 2 Health and Social Care. If you do not hold this qualification, then you will be registered for a fully funded qualification after 3 months employment. You could be eligible for additional remuneration if you are awarded the QCF relevant to your role. You will have the opportunity to do higher awards once you have completed the level 2 where funding is available.

Holiday pay – Avant pay holiday pay to all staff
Bank Holidays – Care and Support Staff who work Bank Holidays will receive extra pay (this excludes Hounslow Care and Support staff and office staff)
Flexible working – we recognise the need for flexible working and we will as far as possible work with you
Study leave – we really encourage our employees to learn and develop. Speak to your manager if you need study leave and we will endeavour to help you.
Buy and sell holidays – we recognise that at times you may want to have more holidays. After 5 years employment, you will be given the opportunity to do so up to one week maximum.
Sabbaticals – after 5 years employment, you will be given the opportunity to take a 4 weeks unpaid sabbatical

Buddy Programme – At Avant we operate a “Buddy” programme which means that we will appoint all new starters with a member of staff who can assist them with day to day matters and help them become comfortable in their new working environment. Your “buddy” will also have with any organisational and operational structure to the business. A “buddy” will ensure that they maintain regular contact with you to discuss any issues that you may have encountered.
Care and Support Staff – Avant have a duty of care to all staff and their security is paramount to the company. Therefore all care and support staff that are in the field are issued with a mobile phone that enables them to log in and out of calls safely.
