Avant Healthcare Services has announced the appointment of a new HR and Training Manager, with Violet Kizito joining the senior team.
Violet will be responsible for developing the skills of Avant’s management and central support team, and ensuring that the company’s growing number of care and support workers provide the highest quality of care for which the brand is renowned.
After 15 years as a manager within HR and training with Sainsbury’s, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new position.
Avant managing director, Sally Graham, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Violet to the team, she’s got a really strong background in one of the UK’s biggest businesses and we’re already seeing the difference her expertise can make. She’s as passionate as we are about standards and people development, and that makes her perfect for Avant as we expand to help more people.”
Violet commented: “Providing the right level of care for people to live comfortably at home is increasingly important for all of us, so to have the opportunity to make a real difference is exciting for me. I’m looking forward to working with Avant’s management team.”
The appointment completes a highly experienced senior leadership team. Sally has spent over 20 years running her own care sector businesses; non-executive director Mike Horgan has been responsible for the growth and development of several health, social care and service industry businesses; and operations manager Deepa Dungar also has many years of experience in adult social care, including more than eight years in training, quality assurance and human resources.
